Mercy Kenneth, a rapidly emerging actress, sparked online chatter when viewers took notice of a particularly intimate movie scene featuring her and a male co-star.
In the footage, Mercy Kenneth and her co-star attempted to depict the portrayal of a virgin experiencing her first sexual encounter with a man.
Following the simulated intimacy, the man pledged to Mercy Kenneth a sum of N100,000 and an iPhone as per the storyline of the film.
Nevertheless, the clip received backlash from online users, with many expressing disapproval of Mercy Kenneth’s participation in such a scene. A significant portion of critics argued that such roles were not suitable for her. Additionally, some observers noted a pattern in her filmography, pointing out her frequent involvement in roles with explicit content.
