“40 people on only me” – Portable receives beaten of his life in Lekki as abroad-based singers request for refund (Video)

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola better known as Portable received the beaten of his life this morning in Lekki Lagos.
Several videos circulating online saw the singer enclosed in a group of aggressive men who wouldn’t let him talk.
However, the attack resulted in Portable having a swollen eye and by extension had to go to hospital for treatment.
Portable in the videos shared via the insta-stories section of his official Instagram page debunks the rumour making the rounds online that he allegedly failed to perform at a show he was paid for.
Shedding light on the whole situation, Portable said that two American-based singers came to him sometime last year through his manager for a music collaboration.
The singer said that he was given N2.5M for a music video shoot and recently they invited him to their house for the video.
He added that he sought additional money as per changes in his charges in the new year and was given N2M.
He noted that after shooting the video, the two abroad-based singers together with his team totalling to 40 in numbers raged at him and request for refund.
Portable stressed that he was seriously beaten up and his life was saved when his manager came with police officers.
