The musician said 2022 has been a good year as he shared the happy news on his verified Instagram account. He captioned it, “2022 was a successful year. All praise be to the Almighty God “.

One of the founders of Fuji music in Nigeria is King Wasiu Ayinde. He served as bandboy for late veteran Fuji musician Barrister Sikiru Ayinde in the 1970s.
He became interested in Fuji music after that and chose the name Ayinde in honor of his boss (Barrister Sikiru). K1 developed into one of Nigeria’s most lauded Fuji singers. He has given performances in significant cities all over the world and has won national and international honors.
