A Nigerian man has captured attention on X (formerly Twitter) after courteously rejecting a lady’s public proposal.
The woman, who goes by the handle @4Lasade, had expressed admiration for the man, calling him “a man of value,” and asked if he would be open to further conversation.
In her tweet, @4Lasade wrote: “Dear @tundeskie, I don’t know if you are single, but I think I will just say this straight, I am shooting my shot publicly, because I think you are a man of value and I will really like to know if you are open to further conversations, thank you.”
Responding to her proposal, the man, @Intern_gbogbo_H, praised her courage but explained that he is not open to further conversation at this time.
He responded; ”I appreciate your courage for speaking up. I know we have interacted few times on the TL and I can tell that you are great person.
However, I may not be able to have further conversations around this at the moment. I am sorry.”
Reacting to this, one Motivational Esther remarked, “This is not fair. You could have gone to her DM. But I understand you are trying to protect your relationship. It’s okay. I hope your woman will also return the same energy when necessary. Good luck
Another user, Rubbi wrote, “Atleast you would have replied in her DM na. Ireally do love her courage tho”.
nenprit shared; “He’s very polite and respectful..🤗🤗. I’m grown enough to know I can not always have whatever I want
