Fresh drama has erupted around legendary Nigerian singer 2Baba Idibia, following explosive allegations made by his former manager during a live session with media personality Daddy Freeze.
In the viral livestream, the ex-manager, Kaka, claimed that 2Baba’s wife, Natasha Osawaru, is “under the influence of drugs” and accused her of controlling the singer’s personal and professional life. He alleged that 2Baba informed him that he married Natasha because he was down and had nothing, describing himself as a househusband in the marriage.
He also alleged that Natasha interferes heavily in the singer’s career decisions. One major example he cited was 2Baba’s supposed plans for a collaboration with rapper ODUMODUBLVCK. He claimed that everything had already been arranged and approved until Natasha allegedly shut it down, insisting that the singer was taking his music career too seriously.
He also revealed that the same thing happened when singer Spyro reached out to 2baba for a collaboration. He revealed they found out someone restricted Spyro on 2baba’s IG, and he couldn’t reach out to his senior colleague.
These allegations come amid growing online discussions about the state of 2Baba’s marriage, especially after recent reports that the couple had a violent altercation in London, and 2Baba was arrested by the UK police.
A few hours after the video surfaced online, 2baba and his wife, Natasha, had another serious fight during Daddy Freeze’s livestream.
