Popular Nigerian singer Asake, fondly known as Mr Money, has described Grammy Award winner Wizkid as the best artiste ever.
Asake made the statement during his recent joint stage performance with Wizkid in the United States, where the duo thrilled fans with an electrifying appearance.
The YBNL alumnus recently headlined the Red Bull Symphonic concert at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York, on November 8, 2025, marking history as the first African artiste to headline the series in the U.S.
The sold-out, one-night-only concert blended Asake’s Afrobeats sound with a 33-piece classical orchestra conducted by Glenn Alexander II. During the show, Asake performed over 20 songs from his catalogue, including “MMS” from his Lungu Boy project.
Fans were left buzzing when Wizkid was unexpectedly brought on stage during the performance of “MMS.” Wizkid delivered his verse with signature calm and charisma, captivating the audience.
Overwhelmed by the moment, Asake hugged the “Essence” crooner afterwards and whispered to the singer’s ear by telling him that he is the best before the video fades.
Asake said; “You are the best.”
Notably, Asake has also collaborated with other top Nigerian stars, including Davido on “No Competition” and Burna Boy on “Sungba (Remix).”
