Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta discovered his passion for plays from an early age and often attended these shows when a theater company was in town.
Growing up, he had the privilege of seeing Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello), Duro Ladipo and Ray Eyiwunmi (Baba Ray) perform. Watching them inspired him and he decided to go the theater route.
He began his professional acting career in 1985 when he teamed up with Joseph Laoye (Uncle Joe), a Baba Ray product.
