The family posted the ad through Fairfax and Kensington, a recruitment agency that specialises in finding staff for wealthy households.

New York Post reported that this is the first time the agency has ever advertised a job solely for a dog nanny.

The family lives in Knightsbridge, one of the most expensive and exclusive areas in the city.

“This is the first role we’ve offered of its kind. The salary connected to it is pretty unheard of. Even as a vet, you’d be struggling to earn that amount of money,” said recruiter George Dunn.
According to the LinkedIn posting, applicants must be willing to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This requirement is essential to meet the dogs’ needs and align with the family’s schedule.

Dunn added:

“There’s six weeks off per year, but when you’re dealing with these sorts of clients, if they want to go to Monaco tomorrow, you’d be on a private jet flying with those dogs.”

According to the recruiter, the clients have emphasized their desire for top-notch service and are willing to pay generously, especially when it concerns their beloved dogs.

“When money is no object, people want the best, and you attract the best with the best salary,” he said.
