Sharing photos of her, Laide recounted her prayers to God on her 25th birthday.
She revealed that she asked God to give her a daughter rather than a husband.
Laide Bakare stated that her daughter’s birthday wish was for everyone to follow her social media accounts.
“After my 25th birthday, I told God that I do not want Husband anymore, all I want is beautiful daughter that will be just like ME, here we are today. Since her return, Simi made several business moves, with the latest being her debut in Nollywood.
The 13 year old daughter of the actress was set to follow her mother’s footsteps.
Sharing a video of Simi on a movie set, Laide Bakare expressed her joy at seeing her daughter star in a movie.
According to Laide, it was so fulfilling directing her boss.
