Nigerian actress, Laide Bakare, has come under fire on social media after she claimed that it costs $500 to wash a car at a car wash in the United States, Praizemedia report.
The actress made the statement in a video she shared on her Instagram page.

In the video, Laide Bakare claimed that she actually saved a huge sum of money by washing her new car at home by herself instead of taking it to the car wash which will cost her a sum of $500.
She wrote, ” I enjoyed this Actually I just saved over $500, instead of taking it to Car wash to clean my New Tokunbo wheels ???? Oya send your Aza to share this gain, 1st 10 people to say congratulations thou and follow @laide.bakarehub and @simlineboss
However, her claims were met with skepticism with many accusing her of exaggerating and lying about the cost of car wash services in the US.
One user wrote: “Shey werey ni Aunty yi ni (Is this aunty crazy)? You lie too much. $500 to wash car in the US? I’ve been to the US, and I know that’s a lie.”
Another user wrote: “Nobody uses 500 dollar to wash car abroad ke rora ma paro oooo chai thank God nah abroad too we dey mstchww.”
