In a recent video, Peller addressed critics who assumed he would lose income due to the ban. He emphasized his financial independence.
Addressing the situation publicly, Peller clarified that the ban does not impact his lifestyle or ability to engage fans, noting that he has multiple brand deals worth over N40 million each. He also revealed that he continues to host giveaways that exceed what he would earn from TikTok live revenue.
“When TikTok live was banned in Nigeria, some foolish people were expecting me to be crying. Let me lecture you, I am an ambassador to a lot of brands. None of them is less than N40 million each. It was in January that I even enjoyed TikTok money last or when I had an official match. The giveaways I do are more than what I earn from TikTok. Don’t joke with me,” Peller said.
In December 2025, TikTok live streaming is temporarily banned in Nigeria over concerns that the platform was being used to promote immoral content and expose minors to inappropriate material.
The ban sparked outrage and confusion among creators, with many questioning how the restriction would affect their livelihoods. Several influencers, including Peller and Jarvis, rely on TikTok as a source of income through monetization and sponsorship deals linked to their online presence
