Nigerian singer Portable has once again stirred up drama online, this time calling out TikTok personality Tunde Perry for allegedly refusing to help content creator Peller gain access to Olamide during the rapper’s recent OVO Arena concert in the UK.
The controversy began after Tunde Perry warned Portable to stop dragging his “helper,” Olamide, following Portable’s earlier rant accusing Baddo of not inviting him to perform at the sold-out London show.
Portable had stated that despite giving Olamide “international fame” with their hit track Zazuu, the YBNL boss did not show up for the music video and has distanced himself from him.
During the concert, another dramatic moment unfolded when popular streamer Peller, who was live-streaming from the venue, attempted to meet Olamide backstage but was denied access. The clip of him being blocked instantly went viral.
In a new video circulating online, Portable blasted Tunde Perry for “forming egbon adugbo” while failing to assist Peller in meeting Olamide. Portable claimed that with the level of access and influence Perry flaunts online, he should have been able to help Peller.
Portable said Perry only acts like a “big brother” when it favours him, and that he is on the verge of taking other TikTok influencers’ glory.
Olamide and Tunde Perry had moments together during and after the concert. The duo left the UK for China a day after the OVO Arena show. Their bromance throughout was the talk of the town as videos of them hugging and hanging out trended.
The drama has triggered mixed reactions, with some people supporting Portable for defending Peller, while others insist Portable is only trying to stir more controversy around Olamide’s concert.
