‘You deleted my post’: Natasha slams colleague, threatens to leak Senate WhatsApp messages

pmnews, November 30, 2025

The Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has threatened to expose information from the Senators WhatsApp forum if her deleted comments are not reposted.

Natasha took to her official Facebook page to call out her colleague, Senator Osita Ngwu, representing Enugu West Senatorial District, for locking comments in the WhatsApp group.

She wrote on Facebook, ‘’Dear Senator Osita Ngwu of Enugu West Senatorial District,You will open responses in the Senators WhatsApp forum and repost my deleted comments. Else I’ll bring the discussion to the public domain.”

Recall that Natasha recently decried the rate at which she is being harassed by government officials, especially immigration officers.

The Kogi senator, in a new video she uploaded on her Facebook account, was captured at the airport asking why her passport was seized. She explained that after spending two years in office as a Senator, she decided to take a week off by travelling out.

The video also showed immigration officers making calls while the senator kept asking what her offence was. The officers could also be heard apologising to Natasha while she rebuffed the apology, telling them to release her passport.

She asked what her offence was for her to be constantly harassed anytime she wanted to embark on a journey.

Natasha added that the last time her passport was seized, it took a call to an influential person before it was released to her.

She also accused the Senate President, Goodswill Akpabio, of instructing the Comptroller-General of Customs to deny her exit and entry, because she was allegedly smearing the image of the country through her interviews.

The senator said there was no court order, and the court case that was brought against her had been withdrawn due to the intervention of President Tinubu, who instructed Akpabio to stop the case because it was allegedly political.

She said, “There is no order from the court to withhold my passport and deny me travelling.”

She added, “You have no right to withhold my passport and deny me entry and exit into my country.”

However, her passport was later released to her, a development she said happened because she went live on video calls.
