On the one-year anniversary of his mother’s demise, Nigerian comedian Ijebu posted a moving homage to her on social media.

The actor shared his profound thoughts of loss and memory in a moving post.

He wrote,” A year ago, I got a call from my mom inviting my siblings and myself. As usual, she prayed for every individual and gave up the ghost on my hands, saying she was going to sleep. A year has passed, but not a day goes by without reminiscing about the time you were with us. We believe that you are in heaven, watching us.

I can never forget you. A part of me is still lost, and I’m wondering if I will ever get it back. Maybe that piece is in your heavenly home with you, and someday you can put it back in me, and I will be whole again.

However, it can’t ease the pain of losing you. We love and miss you! Please watch over us from heaven.
